Kirby Pines operates two assisted living residences, Fireside Villa and Providence Place.  Both facilities are open to private paying residents.

Assisted Living is a home-style level of care that should not be confused with intermediate nursing or skilled care.  As you begin your decision, it is important to assess your current needs and ask how we might accommodate you.  If you are exploring this type of living for someone who cannot personally visit the residence, it is important to respect their needs and wishes by including them in the decision-making process as much as possible. 

Assisted living services include simple housekeeping, maintaining a good level of personal hygiene, assistance in dressing, 24-hour personal supervision or assistance, and timely reminders to take medications.  Meal preparations is included and would take into account nutrition and special diet requirements.  While this type of care involves 24-hour supervision, it sis still not the type of skilled nursing care found at Kirby Pines Gallery Manor, our nursing home.
